Barbara Martin, Sensei a World Black Belt Hall of Fame Member; she is a Graduate of the University
of Georgia and a second degree Black Belt in Shorin Ryu Karate, third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Barbara
Martin is one of the nation’s top martial arts Instructors and foremost expert's on teaching age and
ability appropriate martial arts for children. She is a Martial Arts Industry
Association (MAIA) member, training and consulting with other professional martial artists worldwide. Additionally, Barbara is a Certified Instructor and Master Trainer for the S.M.A.R.T Kid's Safety Education
Program™ and vice President of The Stranger Danger Awareness Foundation, Karate Incorporated's non-profit organization
dedicated to teaching children conflict education and character development.
